Maui, Part Three (Old Lahaina Luau)

Today was a little rainy so we spent it driving down to the south side of the island and even went to the aquarium. On the way home to get ready for the Luau our car broke down on a very busy highway.

We only had this wild chicken to keep us company. Because our cells didn't work here we had to find someone and ask to use their phone to call Alamo. An hour and half later we got a replacement car and were off to the luau. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go to the hotel to get changed so we went in our scungee clothes.

I bought a nice dress to wear to this and ended up with my capris and hoody. Lovely.

Maui, Part Two (Fishing Trip)

We went on an 8 hour fishing trip that took us over to the island of Molokai. Unfortunately we didn't catch anything. Not even a bite.

A Week of Angil

For a week, Chris' sister, Jessie and her husband, Jimmy went to Maui for vacation. And Daymond got to spend some quality time with his cousin, Angil. He was a very good boy and a good napper.

New Big Boy Bed!

Cousin Angil is coming to stay with us for a week while his parents (Jimmy and Jessie) go to Hawaii for a week of relaxation. We thought this would be a good time to get a twin size bed for Daymond so that Angil can use his crib to sleep in. We bought this bed out of Kijiji and picked up a brand new mattress last night. Daymond was VERY excited to have a new Big Boy Bed!

Nova thought he would claim this bed. Nova gets excited when we get any new bed, whether human or dog varieties. As I write this he is snoozing on it right now.
